  • What is your therapeutic approach?

    I use a collaborative, structured, and strength-oriented with the focus of both immediate coping strategies and processing for deeper, lasting change. I use the following evidence-based lens as the foundation of my practice and will explain their benefits during our sessions as needed:

    • Motivational Interviewing

    • Cognitive Behavior Therapy

    • Dialectical Behavior Therapy

    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

    My values: patience in the work, intention in decisions, commitment to growth, kindness toward yourself, moderation in behavior, and openness to excitement in what’s ahead.  

  • I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I work with teenagers, college students, young adults, and professionals who are navigating the following symptoms:

    • Anxiety

    • Depression

    • Substance use, abuse, or dependance

    • Relationship stress

    • Life transitions, changes and pressure

    • Work expectations and stress

    • Feeling stuck or not like yourself

  • Consultation:

    A 15 minute introductory call can be scheduled to assess fit and answer questions. We will talk through current concerns, ways I can support you, and schedule our first session.

    During our first session we will:

    • Discussion of your current challenges, history, and goals

    • Alignment on a plan and cadence moving forward

    • Identification of key themes and initial recommendations

    Are sessions in-person or virtual?

    Sessions are conducted virtually via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform, on SimplePractice or Zoom for Illinois residents.

    In person sessions are available and can be discussed during the initial consultation.

    How long are sessions?

    Standard sessions are 50 minutes weekly. Frequency may adjust based on progress and preferences

    How long does therapy typically last?

    Therapy timelines vary based on goals, experiences, life events, etc. Some clients engage for short-term support, others for ongoing development.

  • What are the fees?

    Fees are consistent with private-pay, specialized therapy practices. Please inquire directly for questions on rates.

    Currently for a standard 50 minute session, it is $185.

    Do you accept insurance?

    Aetna and BCBS Blue Choice PPO may be utilized virtually and out of pocket pricing for in person sessions. Payments can be through Zelle or SimplePractice.

    United Healthcare may be offered in the future.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    • 24-hour notice is required

    • Late cancellations or missed sessions may be charged the full session fee

    Is therapy confidential?

    Yes, with standard legal exceptions (risk of harm, abuse reporting, court orders). If you would like me to consult with another professional or family member, we can discuss a release of information and the goals of that communication.
